Banana cream pie


Ingredients:
Baked pastry shell
3 tbsp corn starch
1 and 2/3 cup water
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks beaten
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 medium bananas sliced and dipped in lemon juice and drain
whipped cream

Preparation:
In pot, dissolve corn starch in water, stir in condensed milk and egg yolks. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Cool slightly. Arrange two bananas on bottom of pie plate. Pour filling over bananas. Cover, chill 4 hours or until set. Top with cream, garnish with remaining slices.
